Director of Movement Therapy and Nursing
Lindsey Schweiger-Whalen is the Director of Movement Therapy and Nursing at Zephyrus of Santa Fe. She is the Clinical Supervisor at Christus St. Vincent’s Behavioral Health Unit in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lindsey holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Exercise Science from Temple University and in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialty in Psychiatry and Mental Health at New Mexico State University. Lindsey is a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Her work with clients focuses on identifying avoidant, excessive, and self-defeating patterns of movement that function to alleviate psychological distress. Lindsey partners with clients in discovering or re-joining with joyful forms of movement that foster connection to self, others, and the environment.
